In our constant quest for the unique and pure, we have hand crafted this beautiful clear rum. It’s distilled using single-source molasses from family-owned plantations in Queensland. After 30 months maturing in bourbon barrels the flavour is spicy and peppery. Because of its single barrel origin, this is not a rum with sweet overtones. Strength and character linger long on the palate and the mouth finish is as suave as a silk cravat.
This exceptional rum was initially aged for more than 5 years in small ex-brandy vats, then further aged over an additional 18 months in ex-port barrels. The results have yielded in a rum of layered complexity that has developed glorious Muscat and Port overtones which are carried through on a soft mouth feel to the finish.
