Great history surrounding the venue with the distillery history, a tour is available if you book it, done the rum tasting, 2 packages are available the basic, and the more aged option. Done the basic and had a wide range of flavours and aromas. For someone who doesn't usually drink rum I actually enjoyed it, spiced rum would have to be my favourite but unfortunately they don't sell the bottle of that by itself and only in a gift pack 😢 finished off with truffle fries and a garlic pizza whilst we waited to be able to drive home 🤙

We stopped by randomly on Easter Sunday.

What a hidden gem of a place. So much incredible history right in Brisbane's backyard.
We tried the chocolate-tasting pairing, which was delicious, as well as other rum-and-sweets pairings—and ended up purchasing a bottle of Spiced Rum.

Some constructive feedback: train staff to provide more details about the history and styles of the available tastings. You want to walk in feeling excited about this fantastic venue and all that it offers.

We enjoyed the steak, which was cooked to perfection. The rum and onion gravy is worth returning for, as is the Lemon Tart dessert. The service was excellent and a warm welcome from the staff. We will definitely be back.

Nice venue and atmosphere. Excellent range of rums, gins and other spirits to sample via tasting platters. The food was quite good and had generous portions. The staff were attentive and pleasant. The tables and chairs need to be replaced in the meals area. The ability to go outside and play kangaroos was fun for everyone. So,e nice historical information was provided on the distillery. I was surprised we ended up being part of a bingo session and the female caller was full energy but ended up being very loud and annoying. The bingo session seems to run on Sunday afternoon.

Did a tour here, the staff were so knowledgeable, friendly made the tour really interesting. Nice vibe in the restaurant, and the rumscwere top notch. Definitely recommend a visit

Randomly chose the place for lunch from google suggestion and it didn’t disappoint.
Place and atmosphere was outstanding. Food and service was exceptional, Belinda in particular, went out of her way to make sure we were looked after and provided us with high level of customer service. Will Definately be going back to try everything on the menu.
Purchased a great bottle of single malt whisky thanks to Belinda’s recommendation.

The food was delicious and my wife's steak was cooked perfectly. The only downside was a lack of sugar free mixers for the spirits on offer so I didn't have any which is a shame considering it's a distillery.

Visited while on holiday for lunch and a rum tasting experience. The food was great and we really enjoyed our time here. Would definitely come back!

Beenleigh Artisan Distillery is an absolute gem and one of those places you leave wondering why you didn’t visit sooner.
From the moment you arrive, you can feel the history and craftsmanship behind everything they do. The distillery has this perfect mix of heritage charm and modern polish — you’re not just grabbing a drink, you’re stepping into a piece of Queensland rum history.
The tasting experience is outstanding. Every rum we tried had real character and depth, and the staff took the time to explain the flavour profiles, the aging process, and the story behind each bottle without ever making it feel like a lecture. You can tell they genuinely love what they do, and that enthusiasm is contagious.
The venue itself is relaxed and beautifully set up. Sitting there with a drink in hand, surrounded by the distillery atmosphere, makes it incredibly easy to lose track of time. It’s perfect for a casual afternoon, a date, or bringing visitors who want to experience something uniquely local.
If you enjoy rum — or even think you might — this place is absolutely worth the trip. We’ll definitely be back.

What a great find in Beenleigh! Can’t believe it took us this long to try it. Great drink experiences(even tastings for kids) full table service and the food was all amazing. Compliments to the chef! Our waitress was attentive and even surprised our daughter with a complimentary birthday dessert. Highly recommend and will definitely come back !

Randomly booked here for lunch as it was a halfway meet for us all. Did not disappoint. Great atmosphere, great food and amazing service by the team on shift. Beer tasting paddle was well worth it! Have to head back another time to sample their other beverages. Great work team!

We came to sample the rums and liqueurs, stayed for lunch, and finished with a purchase of rum crush and rum and coke. Great service, friendly staff, and a worthwhile visit if you want to do some rum tasting and get a meal. They also have beer tasting, but we didn't try that on this occasion.

We had such a wonderful lunch at the Beenleigh Artisan Distillery (Beenleigh Rum Distillery to the locals).

As Australia’s oldest distillery, the venue is both charming in an old worldly way and a modern with the recent architectural make-over turning this into a stunning venue for your next family lunch, dinner or event.

Food was great, pub quality food (good large portions), table service was on-point and both the rum and non-rum drinks were wonderful.

We would recommend trying the mixed cans $25 for 4 - pineapple, passion fruit, orange and ginger. Fresh and tasty.

We had our two kids in tow, the space is family friendly.

Would highly recommend and look forward to coming again.

We recently held our work Christmas party at this historical and well appointed venue. The food and table service was top notch! Will be back again. Thanks to the staff at Beenleigh Artisan Distillery for making such a memorable event.

We just had our work Christmas party at the Beenleigh rum Distillery and it was fantastic. Everyone loved the tour and the rum tasting. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was relaxing and the staff were very lovely. We will be coming back for lunch more often. Highly recommend.

I did the tour and rum tasting and all the rums tasted great

My wife and I went and done the tour and taste testing, was amazing. I have done the Bundaberg rum tour and this one was better in every way.
We then had some lunch which was perfectly cooked and very reasonably priced. We also bought some distillery merchandise which again is very well priced. The staff were amazing, second to none.
Would highly recommend.

Amazing drinks and great service!

I have done the distillery tour and rum tasting/blending at Beenleigh and it was great. I cannot fault their customer service with an order issue that was resolved immediately. I’ve ordered exclusive bottles prior to this, they always sent out quickly. They make a damn good rum!

One of the best places to go, the best staff, great atmosphere! Highly recommend as a go too place for a night of fun!

Food was incredible - corn ribs were tender and seasoned perfectly. Wings are crazy good, better than anything you can find in the US - gotta get the buffalo sauce! Highly recommend

Yesterday we enjoyed a tour and tasting guided by Shiv was a very good experience and Shiv was an awesome guide really informed us about everything to do with Beenleigh rum.. we then also enjoyed a bit of food and cocktails which were also delicious.. 10/10 experience and we will definitely be back.

An unexpected gem in Beenleigh.
Beautiful history, great food at reasonable prices and plenty of gluten free options! The drinks were tasty too! The server was friendly and obviously happy to work there. I didn't ask her name but definitely good job to her.

Went here for my 30th. Waitress who looked after group was lovely, and v knowledgeable on the rum and gin tastings. Both times I’ve been here it was quiet and it doesn’t make sense! It’s got great service, prices and atmosphere.

Very unique rum tasting experience

Kristin was great, every question answered and very informative about the distillery!

The staff were lovely and in general the food was good. We were quite disappointed that there were "vegan options" stated on the menu, however the vegan options for the pizzas we ordered just had the cheese taken off, rather than being replaced with vegan cheese. Our local independent pizza shop in the country town we live in has vegan cheese, its really easy to acquire and offer your customers. A nice atmosphere, however quite difficult to find. Google maps takes you to distillery road market, rather than the Beenleigh Artisan Distillery.
